Today, we're launching World Studios.

World Studios is a global community of student-led studios where ideas become action and learning happens through real-world experiences. Members tackle meaningful challenges, support each other, and grow into leaders who shape the future.

Young adults have the imagination and will. What they often lack is access. On their own, it can be impossible to connect to the skills, spaces, and people that will help them turn an idea into something real. World Studios puts all of those within reach.

We also put members in touch with each other. Every studio is part of one connected community that spans the globe, so their ideas grow stronger in collaboration with people from other fields, cultures, and countries. A World Studios member conceiving a solution in Boston can connect with peers in Bangalore, and vice versa. A member seeking a new perspective on a healthcare, advocacy, architecture, or sustainability challenge can gain insights from students in Japan, Kenya, or Estonia. The possibilities are as wide as members can dream.

Our model has been proven over 15 years and 1,700+ student-led projects across the US with Design for America, and is supported by the Watson Foundation, who has spent over 55 years building programs that support young adults — and the ideas that matter most to them — on an international scale. World Studios builds on that track record.

We're growing World Studios collaboratively with innovative universities and institutions, organizations, and impact partners. If you're someone who believes in young adults, or are a young adult eager to learn through real-world projects, there's a place for you here, and we'd love to start the conversation.
